Great site!
Hope you can help with a project of mine. I'm building a Half Hull Model of the Bluenose from a set of plans I bought from Philip Eisner a few years ago. The scale on his drawings are 3/16"=1'0". His hull is 26.5" long and I want to reduce it to about 23". I came across a scale reducer a while back but cant find it again. Do you have any ideas? I'd be grateful for any help. The model is for my son's birthday in May.
Thank you, Pat Patterson

I envy your work as much as I know how many hours it takes to finish a good model.
I have done a couple kits like the Bounty, Blue Shadow, Ranger and Astrolabe, but then I needed a new challenge. I took on the HMS Unicorn (three-masted frigate) in 1/50 unsing plans and sketches from the kit. Would like to send you some pictures. I finished this project in 2004.

Right now I`m doing the Friedrich-Wilhelm-zu-Pferde in 1/50.

Keep up the great work

regards
Eberhard

I'm building HMS PRESIDENT 1760, typed on net & hey presto your site popped up. Brilliant! What would you think about having a before & after "guest" picture slot for those building similar boats or just the odd photo thrown in? Just a thought?

Your ships are superb & the web site is very helpful. JJ

Beautiful pictures of beautiful ships.
I'm just working with a 1:50 scale model of the GLADAN, one of two sister training scooners of the Swedish navy.
